We must endeavor.

What kind of person should we be now?
Let us become one with God and the Words of God, not thinking of authority or riches so as to achieve purpose God has wanted.
God has worked for 6,000 years in order to fulfill His work.
God has never stopped working when we sleep or idle away .
Thus, God has been working from now on so that He achieves His Kingdom of Heaven and promised nations.
If we truly love, believe in God furthermore we believe in Jesus and think of how great the grace of Jesus, We have to reestablish our determination and become one with Jesus to achieve God’s work.
We must endeavor.

[Shincheonji quote] Shouldn’t we all believe the promises of God that Jesus has completely fulfilled?

Shouldn’t we all believe the promises of God that Jesus has completely fulfilled?

Believers,
What’s done is done.

God’s promise of the New Testament is for today.

The important things for us are not the past fulfillments of the promises, the more important thing is the fulfilled promises that God had made and fulfilled for us today.

The one thing we should think about is the reason why the Physical Israelites denied the words of God that they had waited for the fulfillment of the Old Testament.

Today we, too, believe in the New Testament.

.
We believe in the New Testament God had made and the word of God is told to us before it happens, so that when it does happen, we well believe (Jn14:29). Yet we could not see, hear, and know until the promised words would be fulfilled.

But should we believe the words of promise as we have been waiting for?

We must examine and confirm which one is the true word of God in order to believe.

Everyone, please think about this.

Shincheonji, The end and beginning of the Old Testament and New Testament

SHINCHEONJI

The end and beginning of the Old Testament

 and New Testament

What is the testament?
According the online dictionary, the definition of the word ‘testament’ is:

Testament
Noun
1.    either of the two major portions of the Bible: the Mosaic or old covenant or dispensation, or the Christian or new covenant or dispensation.
2. will, especially one that relates to the disposition of one's personal property.
3. covenant, especially between God and humans.

When we search for the origin of the word ‘Testament’, it came from the Middle English word of ‘will’ and ‘covenant’.

Origin:
1250–1300; Middle English:  will, covenant < Latin testāmentum,  equivalent to testā ( rī ) to bear witness (see testate) + -mentum –ment

When we translate the meaning of Old Testament and New Testament into another word, it means ‘Old covenant’ and ‘new covenant.’
The covenant is an agreement, usually formal, between two or more persons to do or not do something specified. Then why Bible is classified with old and new covenant? We can find the answer in the Bible, in Hebrew 8:7

Hebrew 8:7
For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another.

It means, we need to make a new promised (new covenant = New Testament) because the first covenant (Old Testament) went wrong. (I will post another article about Old Testament and New Testament later too.)

The article below explains about the end and beginning of the Old Testament and New Testament. If testament is a covenant, it is important to know how the covenant was made and how did that promise end. I pray this article will help you understand the Bible deeper.
