Volunteers of Jeonju Church of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, progressed the volunteering activity to clean near the CBS Jeonju Station for nature conservation on 29th of last month.

About 150 volunteers of Jeonju Church of Shincheonji progressed the volunteering activity to clean near the CBS Jeonju Station and showed indirectly what the real true believer is like, even though there is a controversy recently that 'people addicted to Shincheonji' from CBS is a distorted false broadcasting.

God told us 'love, forgiveness, and blessing'.

Just like Jesus said ' love your neighbor as yourself' and practiced his love into action, Jeonju Church tried to practice Jesus' love through this volunteer activity although Shicheonji Church has been grossly misunderstood by the distorted broadcasting about them from CBS.

One volunteer staff of Jeonju Church of Shincheonji said the reason why they progressed this volunteer activity that day saying " even though CBS has been promoting social distraction continuously by airing the distorted false broadcasting about us, we progressed this volunteer activity for nature conservation in order to observe the teaching of Jesus that 'love even your enemy'.

Shincheonji Church is the church that tries to practice the Word of the Bible into action as a real true believer. We hope to disappear all the misunderstandings about Shincheonji Church that has been bothered just as snow melts away in spring.

While heavy snowfall watch has been issued in 6 areas of Jeollabuk-do on last 21st afternoon, it snowed in Iksan.

The sunny weather from the morning has made snowdrift melt into water, but road has become frozen by sudden snow.

 

People complained of inconvenience that cars can't go uphill roads and slip with danger of accident and roads have been block without snow-removing work.

Volunteers(the leader is Gwanghyun Woo) from Shincheonji Iksan church started snow-removing work around Bukbu Market, City Hall, and Buk Elementary School in order to prevent accident and inconvenience of citizen.

The leader Gwanghyun Woo says, “We’ve started snow-removing work since we were worried about accidents from frozen roads. We would be the volunteer association, which serves local community and citizens and practices love just like light, rain, and air from the sky.”

Now 1.7 million foreigners are living in Korea. It means 3 out of 10 people living in Korea are foreigners.

Many of foreigners living in Korea are foreign works who came to Korea with the hope of 'Korea dream'. Their hearts and body are exhausted as they live far away from their homeland and family. On March 1st, volunteers of Shincheonji Daejeon Church opened the 'Health Doctor' project to heal the physical and psychological wounds of foreigner workers who are living in Korea.

Continued to last year, Shincheonji volunteer groups invited foreign workers and provided health examination, physical therapy and acupuncture to heal their tired bodies.

To heal the minds of foreigners that are wounded by language barriers and cultural difference, there was a cultural performance and Korean traditional games for foreigner works. So that it will help foreigners to understand Korean culture better.

On Surya (32 years old) from Nepal said "I met Shincheonji volunteers last year through 'Health Doctor' projects and I have been meeting with volunteers regularly and learn Korean. It helped me to understand Korean culture." He also said "I appreciate the continuously devotion and activities to Shincheonji volunteers", he said with a bright smile on his face.

Roxanne (25 years old, Sri Lanka) said "Everything was unfamiliar to me since I was very new to Korea. I had hard time due to homesick and missed my family badly, but I was glad to know more about Korea and meet many friends here."

The leader of Shincheonji Daejun Church Volunteer Group, Mr. Kang Jeong Sea said "Branches of Shincheonji Volunteer groups over Korea continued the 'Health Doctor' project this year, which is the project started from last year." Mr. Kang also said "As we are same human being living this world together, we will try to make the harmonized world through love of God."

Shincheonji Suwon Church volunteers share their love through helping and enriching local community.

Repainting the old wall and drawing beautiful artwork on it.

They devote their time to share love with neighbors as what Jesus commanded us to love each other. Shincheonji Suwon Volunteers had been working for various volunteers work: repainting the old exterior wall, environmental clean-up, supporting restoration of flood damage, sharing food and making a campaign to promote the traditional local market. 

The painting is about peace 

In 24th August 2013, Shincheonji volunteers drew wall painting in order to give vivid energy to the local community. The wall was total 38 m where more than ten thousands of cars pass everyday. 

On that day, there were 30 Shincheonji volunteers and 10 local citizens worked together to make this place to more beautiful place. The theme of drawings on the wall was 'wedding banquet' and 'peace.'

Due to the weather and long length of wall, repainting all of them was definitely not a easy work to do, but old wall changed to new and colorful public place with the warm hands of Shinchonji volunteers and Suwon citizens.

 Shincheonji members volunteer at various fields for the development of local community and society. As Bible teaches us the lesson of loving each other, Shincheonji practice our love through using our abilities and talents to help others.This time, Shinchoenji members gathered together to paint the wall around the bus stop. Althought painting a exterior wall isn't easy (I'm sure many of you know it if you had done it before), but it was meaningful time since this painting would make passenger to feel better while walking or waiting for the bus.

First of all, we need to clean the wall so that painting will be painted smoothly and dry nicely. Fortunately, the wall was build long time ago, but its surface was smooth enough for us to draw draft, so we skipped the first step.

Secondly, we draw drawings on the wall (We struggled with the idea of what to draw, but we wanted to draw something sometime that would make passengers to feel comfortable and welcomed).
Thirdly, paint the light background to dark colors.

Her sweet smile made me smile too.

Fourthly, paint the detailed drawing.

This young boy also volunteered together, I can tell that he was really concentrated when he was painting.
